Elevating One Distinct Message from Three Voices
What happens when three powerhouse speakers unite under one roof? We partnered with OM USA and Crazy Love to help elevate an event brand with a distinct theme that transcended, yet celebrated the brand equity of each speaker, spoke to the right audience and cut through the noise. The Rethink Church Rethink Mission event was a collaborative effort, spearheaded by Operation Mobilization USA. OM USA is reimagining missions as we know it today through innovative approaches to global evangelism.

The challenge

Francis Chan. David Platt. Andrew Scott. Within evangelical circles, these names carry clout. All gathered under one roof for an evening event, you run the risk of misplaced brand equity attracting the wrong audience. Or worse—distracting from the heart and vision of the event. For better or worse, clout equals noise. We stepped in to help elevate an event brand with a distinct theme that transcended, yet celebrated the brand equity of each speaker, spoke to the right audience and cut through the noise.

The solution
With web, print, social and video mediums in play, we developed a strong, yet flexible identity system that matched the seriousness of the theme and set a proper tone. Strategic and simple use of speaker equity further solidified the theme—leading up to the event and during.
The impact
With over 2000 people present in person and thousands more streaming the event live, this event had substantial reach. We knew that there would be substantial live impact but we also prepared for high amounts of delayed engagement. Over 144,000 people have seen the event online after the fact. We also extended the shelf life of this content by editing down separate keynote videos and provided them on a closed platform that included small group curriculum content.
